Room in the Womb?

So it doesn’t look like there could be much space to move around in Gina’s belly but somehow Leah has managed to flip over twice this week. How is that possible? She is currently head down, and we hope that she will stay that way.

Do you think it is possible to tell what a baby’s personality is while they are still in the womb? It seems like our kiddos are displaying certain traits already. For example… Leah never does what you want her to. Gina says that she is awake all night kicking and moving, yet every time we try to get her to wake up for a non-stress test it is very difficult. She moves away from the monitor or just refuses to move. Jack on the other hand always does what we want him to. He is head down. If you push on him he kicks back. It will be interesting to see what they are like when they come out.

We had our 33 week appointment yesterday. Everything is still looking good. The doctor told us that after next Wednesday Gina wouldn’t need to be given steroids for the babies’ lungs. Very Exciting!! Next week the doctor and Jason’s parents are out of town… so we are hoping everything will stay the same for at least another week. The last growth sonogram was a over a week ago… Leah’s estimated weight was 4 lb 2 oz and Jack’s estimated weight was 3 lb 12 oz. At this point in the pregnancy they should gain between 6 and 8 ounces every week.

  1. I am so excited for Jack and Leah to be here! And yes, I do think you can tell personalities based on how they act in the womb. For some reason, I see Leah and Aiden being very much alike! We might need to keep a close eye on those two.
